“What interests me the most in photography, is it’s capability to reveal a lot about human nature and an individual or culture’s identity.
In this way, I feel that photography and psychology are closely linked.
I always look for genuine and authentic expressions of self, not only via portraiture but also still lifes, as the things we surround ourselves with are an extended manifestation of our personality.
Essentially, being human and all that that implies, cloaked in bright colours and some light-hearted humour, is at the core of my work.“
